I struggled with body changes that were not only physically challenging to fix on my own but also affecting my mental health. I highly recommend Mona Lisa treatment.
Judy, the nurse administering the procedure was very comforting. She told me exactly what to expect and that was reassuring. If I had needed to stop for any reason and just rest, all I needed to do was just let her know. I never needed the time out and actually, continued to chat with her. The very last procedure I had, I felt two little pinches and one medium pinch. It was nothing to complain about for sure! The results are so, so worth it!!
I am so happy to have found Mona Lisa Touch! Dr Lightfoot, a urologist I’ve been going to for years, said “just GO to Judy at Mona Lisa!”. I love and trust Dr Lightfoot’s advise so I made an appointment and went. I had just enough knowledge of the procedure to have hope it could “fix” my all too frequent symptoms. It always felt like I had a bladder infection. Sometimes I did and mostly the test results were normal.
For me the results of the treatment have been so worth it! Intercourse isn’t painful anymore. I don’t feel “heavy” and achy/crampy in pelvic area. It really has made a difference in my total well being. I’m not having to manage discomfort and pain anymore. The procedure has helped me feel like myself again.

I had researched the Mona Lisa procedure online prior to my appointment with Medical Aesthetics. After an in-depth consultation with the Doctor and other staff members, I was very excited to try Mona Lisa therapy. It is now 5 months since my 3rd treatment and I am confident my decision was the right one. I have had marked improvement with vaginal dryness, more comfortable intimacy and most importantly to me, was improvement with urinary incontinence that I had experienced since a hysterectomy 20 years ago.
I have recommended and helped educate several friends about this therapy and never miss an opportunity to discuss it when asked about my experience.

I have had three treatments so far, and I am beginning to show progress for the extreme pain I have with intercourse and severe dryness after menopause. It has been 11 years since surgery caused menopause and I have not been able to treat this problem effectively with oral estrogen. Since I have been struggling with this pain for a long time, I will probably need more than three treatments to get where I want to be. I will keep doing this until sex is pain free.
The procedure was totally comfortable and fast. I was in and out in under half an hour, sometimes much less. I spent more time looking for a place to park than the procedure. Any woman of “a certain age” would not be intimidated or bothered by the procedure. No pain, just some vibration.
For the first time in I can’t remember how many years, I feel that I lubricate. No artificial lubes, no insertable moisture, just me. It makes intimacy so much more enjoyable when you don’t have to worry that you will need another boost of some wet, sticky chemical. I’m 67, so it’s never too late to fix that nagging problem.
I had repeated urinary infections for 1 1/2 years. It’s not certain if they just never cleared up or were new infections, but there were three different bacterial infections during that time. I was taken off estrogen because of cancer, have to take an estrogen suppressant, and it wreaked havoc on my genitalia: I had bleeding hemorrhoids, anal fizzures, incontinence, and deterioration of tissues in the area.
