Biography
About Dr. James Richards
Dr. James K Richards received his undergraduate BA degree from Austin College and his M.D. from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. He completed his residency at Parkland Memorial Hospital and was chief resident from 1978-1979.
His areas of special interest include infertility, birth control, management of heavy periods, minimally invasive surgery (certified by the American Institute of Minimally Invasive Surgery), operative laparoscopy / hysteroscopy, wellness, and abnormal pap smears. Awards/Memberships/Offices include: Fellow with American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, American Board Obstetrics/Gynecology: Board Certified, Dallas County Medical Society, Texas Medical Association, Dallas-Fort Worth Obstetric and Gynecologic Society, American Fertility Society, American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, Southwestern Gynecologic Assembly, Best Doctors in Dallas: D magazine: Multiple Years, and Texas Monthly Super Doctors: 2014 multiple years Hall of Fame.
