After a variety of treatments for reoccurring UTI’s, my urogynecologist recommended the Mona Lisa procedures. It lessoned my UTI’s and urinary incontinence. In addition, its lessoned issues surrounding vaginal dryness and burning. The procedures were relatively quick and painless. I would recommend following the suggested schedule of going in for “touch-ups”. I failed to return in a timely manner and am once again experiencing some of my original symptoms. That in, of itself, is testimony to the effectiveness of the procedure. My only complaint is that insurance refuses to acknowledge this as a medical procedure and does not cover the it.

I came back for a touch up because I do not want to lose the fabulous effects of this treatment.

After menopause it was becoming more and more difficult to have intercourse with my husband. Due to extreme dryness from a total hysterectomy on my 30’s, the Mona Lisa Touch has totally changed my life. The Mona Lisa has been a life altering experience. It has diminished my vaginal dryness and improved my sexual experience with my partner. I have had laser procedures on my face before and shuddered at the thought of that process in a private area! But this was very different as there was very little discomfort and a numbing cream is available so that you can eliminate all discomfort. It’s very fast, private and professional. Menopause symptoms of dryness and painful intercourse were greatly improved after 3 initial treatments. It has been one year and I am scheduling my first touch up.

My pain was so severe I could no longer be intimate without extreme pain to the point of tears. I had one treatment and intimacy was tolerable. With each treatment there was improvement. I’m 60 and was tired of the vaginal burning and irritation. It got to the point where I was in tears from the pain,especially with sex. Sex was a big no no due to the pain. The 1st treatment was great a little watery discharge then a few days of discomfort, the 2nd I felt more discomfort afterwards with some burning and irritation also some mild spotting the 1st day so my dr put me on estrogen cream which helped a great deal. The last one I’m still waiting to see results since I had it done on 7/23 so it has been that long. I was also happy that I was able to make payments.

The Mona Lisa has given back the intimacy to my husband and me that we have shared for 36 years! It is a vital part of our relationship and thanks to Mona Lisa, it can continue to do so for years to come! Intercourse had become unpleasant because of the pain caused by the dryness I experienced.
