Wow!!!! I had the procedure nearly two years ago and never expected the life-changing results. This is a marriage and a health changer. Before having the procedure, sex was very painful. After having chemotherapy and hitting menopause at the same time, it felt like my vagina had shrunk. I would bleed after painful intercourse. The things your Mother never told you. I knew there was a phase in a woman’s life called “menopause” and that it was the time that your menstrual periods stopped. That’s it. I didn’t know about the hot flashes, the sweating, the stomach I never had before, that I would never be able to sleep more than three consecutive hours again (silly me, I thought that ended after my baby started sleeping through the night!). I certainly had no idea that my nether region would dry up and wither away – to the point that the pain of an intimate relationship with my husband would not only become very infrequent, but that it would HURT so much that “never again” sounded like a good solution.

Along came Dr. Eric Jacoby who was recommended to me by a long time friend. I am a total chicken liver, but the treatment was pain free. No more uncomfortable than a pap smear. it lasted I would guestimate less than 10 minutes. The staff at the clinic were so kind and encouraging. This was a big deal to me, so I wanted to make sure everything had healed (not necessary) and was ready to go. Oh my goodness! The very first time my husband and I were intimate was actually enjoyable and pain free! I was praying that I didn’t have to be one of those wives to have the EMTs come to my house only to tell me “Well, at least he went out happy.” Without the dreadful pain I’d been having for years and the total lack of desire, our sex life improved dramatically which makes both of us feel more young and invigorated! this procedure changed and gave me my life back! Due to breast cancer at age 40 and again at age 50, i went in to early menopause.
